Python and web services developer

We are looking for a Software Engineer with a minimum experience of 2 years for the development of Python libraries. The successful candidate will work in one of the international leading groups for Orbit Determination of asteroids or space debris and for the study of possible asteroid impacts with the Earth.

Skills profile.

Required:

Experience in developing scripting in Python (no machine learning);
Experience in developing software for a web service;
Knowledge of control version system as git and subversion;
Linux OS;
Very good English in writing and speaking;
Strong attention to deadlines and deliveries;
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in an open and collaborative environment. Pro-active attitude.

Desirable:

Basic knowledge of astronomy;
Programming in C/C++.

Researcher and software developer
